Keeping our Church Family Safe and Healthy
Dear Church Family,
As of June 22nd, the State of Michigan has lifted its mask requirement for indoor gatherings, and we have followed suit as well!
This Sunday’s service will be indoors at normal capacity, and we will have no mask requirement. However, please feel free to continue to wear one if you’d feel more comfortable. Also, I encourage you to continue with hand washing and sanitizing as a good practice when we’re all together.
I want to personally thank and commend you for your vigilance and diligence over the last 15 months. We’ve done our best as a church family to abide by the requirements here in our state, and support the efforts of our community, while advancing our worship and mission. And while it has demanded a lot from us, I’m very proud of this congregation for not only enduring through this season, but even thriving through it!
I’m excited to move forward with our summer plans and advance the mission of the church! If there’s anything you need personally that we can help with, please let us know.
This Sunday the 27th we’ll be indoors, and the entire month of July we plan to hold outdoor services, beginning with a Tent Revival on Sunday, July 4th! We’ll conclude that service with a picnic at the church with bounce houses, campfire, cookout, games, shade tents, music, and great memories! Bring someone with you to celebrate!
We’re looking forward to these changes, and welcome our return to some parts of “normal”! We’re also excited about continuing some of the beneficial changes that were brought to us by Covid, such as online live-streamed services, making Zoom gatherings available, and some new methods of ministry we hadn’t done before.
God bless you, and thank you for being an amazing part of our church family! If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know!
In Jesus’ name!
